Gold continues to dominate the market with a world price of USD 4,592.81 per troy ounce, equivalent to TZS 383,096.18 per gram.
Locally, the mineral market price stands at TZS 344,786.57 per gram, while buying centres across the country offer TZS 337,124.64 per gram to miners and traders.
Silver remains considerably lower, with a world market value of USD 71.87 per troy ounce or TZS 5,994.83 per gram.
In Tanzania, the mineral market price is TZS 5,395.35 per gram, while buying centres offer TZS 5,275.45 per gram.
Copper, traded per gram from international benchmarks, shows a world market price of USD 5.51 per pound, equivalent to TZS 31.52 per gram.
The local mineral market price is TZS 28.36 per gram, with buying centres offering TZS 27.73 per gram.
