For gold, the world market price stands at USD 4,585.52 per troy ounce, equivalent to TZS 380,864.93 per gram. Locally, the mineral market price is set at TZS 342,778.44 per gram, while buying centres are offering TZS 335,161.14 per gram.
Silver prices have also been updated, with the world market price recorded at USD 73.17 per troy ounce, or TZS 6,077.37 per gram. The mineral market price in Tanzania is TZS 5,469.63 per gram, and buying centres are offering TZS 5,348.08 per gram.
These indicative prices are intended to enhance transparency in the mineral trade, support fair transactions, and provide market participants with up-to-date information for decision-making.
