Mineral indicative prices for March 25,2026


The Mining Commission of Tanzania has released the latest indicative prices for gold and silver as of March 25, 2026, providing guidance to miners, traders, and investors in the country’s mineral sector.

According to the Commission, the world market price of gold stands at USD 4,589.10 per troy ounce, equivalent to Tanzania Shillings (TZS) 382,072.62 per gram

The local mineral market price is set at TZS 343,865.36 per gram, while buying centers are offering TZS 336,223.90 per gram for gold.

For silver, the world market price is reported at USD 73.28 per troy ounce, or TZS 6,101.04 per gram. The mineral market price is TZS 5,490.94 per gram, and buying centers are offering TZS 5,368.91 per gram.

The Mining Commission emphasizes that these prices are indicative and serve as a benchmark for transactions between miners and buying centers across the country. The figures reflect current trends in global markets while considering local market dynamics.
