Singida Black Stars suspend Aucho and Obasogie pending investigations

Singida Black Stars have suspended two key players as the club launches an investigation into serious allegations against them. 

The announcement was made today, February 27, 2026, by the office of the club’s Chief Executive Officer.

Midfielder Khalid Aucho has been suspended for three months following allegations of misconduct and failure to report for duty, while goalkeeper Amas Obasogie faces a similar suspension amid claims of involvement in match-fixing.

The club emphasized that the disciplinary action is intended to uphold integrity, professionalism, and accountability within the team.

“The club reminds all players and staff to maintain discipline, accountability, and respect for the organization,” the statement said.
