New Ngorongoro Conservation Commissioner officially welcomed by staff

Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru, the newly appointed Commissioner of Conservation for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), has been officially received by staff in a formal ceremony at the Njia Panda offices.

The occasion featured a ceremonial guard of honor, marking the Commissioner’s first official engagement following his recent appointment and swearing-in by the Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Dr. Ashatu Kijaji (MP).


In his new role, Commissioner Badru is expected to oversee the sustainable management and conservation of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Tanzania’s most treasured natural and cultural heritage sites. 

Staff members expressed their support and optimism, pledging to work closely with the Commissioner to enhance conservation efforts and promote tourism responsibly.
