The Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) was recognized on Thursday for its role in managing and overseeing the country’s water supply and sanitation authorities.
The award was presented by the Minister of Water, Mr. Jumaa Aweso, during the Water Sector Excellence Awards in Arusha.
EWURA’s Director General, Dr. James Andilile, received the honor on behalf of the authority.
“The recognition aims to highlight the best-performing water authorities, regulators, and officials over the past three years,” Aweso said.
Dr. Andilile said EWURA will continue collaborating with the Ministry of Water and providing rigorous oversight to ensure continued improvement in service delivery across the country.
