The Commander of the Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police, SACP Muliro J. Muliro, today, December 30, 2025, met with Brigadier General Justus Mwilambeghe Kitta of the Tanzania People’s Defence Force (TPDF) in a high-level coordination meeting.
The session brought together senior officers from the Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police and Brigadier General Kitta, who leads the 302 KV Unit of the TPDF.
The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration, reinforcing discipline, and promoting professionalism across security and defence institutions.
During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of patriotism, effective communication, and mutual cooperation in ensuring national security.
They noted that strong coordination between the police and the military strengthens public trust and ensures the country’s security agencies remain reliable pillars for the nation.
SACP Muliro expressed gratitude to Brigadier General Kitta and his delegation for visiting the police headquarters, describing the engagement as a key step in fostering closer ties between the police and the military, ultimately benefiting citizens and the country at large.
The meeting was held at the Dar es Salaam Special Zone Police headquarters and highlighted the shared commitment of both forces to safeguard Tanzania and uphold peace and security.
