Tanzania’s Form Four Examinations (CSEE) are set to begin on 17th November and run until 5th December 2025, with over 595,000 candidates expected to sit for the exams across 5,868 schools and 813 private candidate centers.

Of the registered candidates, 569,914 are school students, including 266,028 boys and 303,886 girls, while 25,902 are private candidates.

Among them, 1,184 school and private candidates have special needs, ranging from visual and hearing impairments to physical and intellectual disabilities.

NECTA says this year’s registration shows a 7.7% increase from 2024, reflecting growing participation in secondary education.

The Council emphasizes that the CSEE is crucial for determining placement into Form Five and vocational tracks such as health, agriculture, and technical trades.

Preparations, including distribution of exam papers and special arrangements for candidates with disabilities, have been completed.

Invigilators are urged to enforce rules professionally, while candidates are reminded to follow examination regulations.

NECTA warns that any malpractice will lead to cancellation of results.

School heads and owners are asked to respect examination protocols, and the public is urged to maintain peaceful conditions around exam centers. Any reports of cheating can be made via 0759360000 or esnecta@necta.go.tz.

NECTA wishes all candidates success in their exams from 17th November to 5th December 2025.
