Tanzania’s transport sector is set for a shake-up following the launch of a new three-wheeler branded “Mfalme” (The King), introduced yesterday by leading mobility solutions company TVS.
The new vehicle, powered by Genius energy technology, is designed to deliver greater reliability, durability and fuel efficiency.
TVS Business Director Jonathan Masanja said the innovation is aimed at easing the burden on drivers and operators by offering a product that is both stronger and more economical than existing models.
“This new product is different from those already in the market because it is built with superior strength, and above all, it enables users to save nearly 50 percent of their daily fuel costs,” Mr Masanja told participants at the launch.
According to the company, Mfalme is expected to boost efficiency in the transport of passengers and small cargo, while lowering operating costs for owners.
The company believes this will help drivers increase their earnings and make public transport more affordable.
TVS has operated in Tanzania for more than 15 years and has established itself as one of the key players in the country’s transport sector, recognised for providing quality and innovative products.
Industry analysts note that the launch of Mfalme is likely to reinforce the company’s leadership in offering environmentally friendly and cost-effective solutions in line with Tanzania’s growing demand for modern transport.
