Tanzania and Hungary are taking steps to deepen their economic and diplomatic cooperation, marked by the official reception of Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Péter Szijjártó, by Tanzania’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Mahmoud Thabit Kombo.
The ministers held private discussions before leading bilateral talks that included senior officials from both countries.
The meetings focused on identifying opportunities for trade, investment, and closer diplomatic collaboration.
Mr. Szijjártó’s one-day working visit underlines Hungary’s interest in expanding its partnership with Tanzania, reinforcing ties that promise growth in trade, investment, and regional cooperation.
