The Ministry of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania has confirmed that it will participate in the 3rd Annual International Conference of the African Association of Accountants General (AAAG).
The event is scheduled to take place from November 24 to 27, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra, Ghana.
The conference, themed “Africa of Tomorrow: Positioning Public Financial Management (PFM) for Economic Prosperity,” aims to provide a platform for knowledge exchange, constructive dialogue, and the development of actionable resolutions to strengthen public financial management across Africa.
AAAG is committed to enhancing financial management processes on the continent by promoting transparency, accountability, and professionalism within government accounting.
Participating countries will have the opportunity to share best practices and adopt strategies to improve public sector finance management.
Registration for the conference is now open. Interested participants can register online through the official conference website: www.conference.aaag.africa. Successful registrants will receive an official invitation letter and an invoice with bank payment details.
Conference fees are set at USD 600 for standard registration from September 1 to November 14, 2025, and USD 650 for late registration starting November 15, 2025. Participants are responsible for their own accommodation and travel costs.
Delegate data validation will begin on Saturday, November 22, 2025, and cash payments will not be accepted at the venue.
Dr Natu E. Mwamba, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, urged eligible participants to register promptly to secure their attendance.
He emphasized the importance of the conference in advancing Africa’s public financial management agenda and fostering regional cooperation.
