The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) has placed Tanzanian tea at the centre of attention at the 60th Mozambique International Trade Fair (FACIM 2025), attracting strong interest from visitors.

Fairgoers had the opportunity to sample Tanzanian tea, branded Made in Tanzania, with many praising its quality and requesting that the product be made available in Mozambique’s local markets.

TanTrade said the response reflects Tanzania’s growing potential to expand its tea exports and strengthen regional trade ties.

“This platform is opening new market opportunities for Tanzanian goods and services in Mozambique,” the authority noted.

FACIM 2025, which draws international exhibitors and traders, is expected to close on August 31.

TanTrade reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that Tanzanian products and services gain greater visibility and recognition in Mozambique and across the Southern African region.
