CAG visits Msomera to inspect infrastructure projects

The Controller and Auditor General (CAG), Mr. Charles Kichere, has visited Msomera village in Handeni District to inspect various infrastructure projects being developed by the government.

During the visit, Mr. Kichere toured 1,500 completed houses designated for voluntary relocation of residents from Ngorongoro. 

He also inspected other facilities, including roads, water supply, schools, healthcare centers, electricity, and livestock infrastructure such as markets and grazing areas.

Handeni District Commissioner, Mr. Salum Nyamwese, commended the government for its substantial investment in Msomera, describing the village as a model settlement in Tanzania.

Mr. Kichere was accompanied by the Commissioner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA), Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru, as well as officials from the CAG’s office, Handeni District Council, and NCAA.
