The Controller and Auditor General (CAG), Mr. Charles Kichere, has called on staff of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) to uphold professionalism, adhere to laws and procedures, and work collaboratively to ensure public resources are managed responsibly.

Speaking to the authority’s management team, Mr. Kichere stressed that institutions can only excel in audits when they strictly follow established regulations and operate with transparency.

“Every day, as you perform your duties, it is crucial to respect the law, maintain high professional standards, and remember that your work serves Tanzanians through the resources entrusted to you,” he said.

Ngorongoro Conservation Commissioner, Mr. Abdul-Razaq Badru, praised the CAG’s visit, noting that the authority remains committed to improving operational systems, particularly in conservation, tourism, and community development, to enhance productivity and benefit the nation.
