The recent appointment of new members to the Bukoba Regional Referral Hospital (BBRH) Advisory Board has marked a significant step towards enhancing healthcare delivery in the region.
The Board has received the special leadership training from the Ministry of Health ,equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to effectively fulfill their roles.
This training emphasizes the importance of their position as a vital link between the community and hospitals, ensuring that healthcare services continuously improve, based on community needs.
Dr. Samwel Laizer, Kagera Regional Medical Officer representing the Kagera Regional Administrative Secretary, commended the newly appointed board members on their roles, highlighting their duty as ambassadors for the hospital within the community.
He urged them to effectively advise the hospital management on various issues, particularly focusing on enhancing the quality of services offered.
The Advisory Board's chairman, Dr. George Buberwa, expressed gratitude for the training and the trust placed in them. He reiterated their commitment to collaborating with hospital leadership to drive enhancements in patient care, infrastructure, and resource management.
