Former Mbeya Rural MP, Oran Manase Njeza, has officially expressed his interest in reclaiming the constituency seat under the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) ticket in the upcoming General Election scheduled for October this year.

On Sunday, June 30, Njeza visited the CCM district office located in Iwindi Ward, where he collected and later submitted nomination forms after completing all required procedures. The forms were handed to him by the CCM District Secretary for Mbeya Rural.

Njeza, who previously represented the constituency in Parliament, said he is ready to return to serve the people with renewed dedication, should the party grant him the nomination.

“I am committed to continuing the development journey we began. I have listened to citizens across the constituency and believe I still have a valuable contribution to make,” he said.

His move comes as CCM continues to receive aspirants seeking the party’s endorsement for various elective positions ahead of the October polls. The nomination process is expected to be competitive, with many candidates eyeing parliamentary seats across the country.

Njeza’s comeback bid reflects growing momentum within CCM as it prepares for a crucial election cycle.
