Preparations for the second semi-final of the CRDB Federation Cup are in full swing in Babati, Manyara Region, as football fever continues to rise.
The upcoming clash will see Singida Black Stars take on Simba SC at the Tanzanite Stadium in Kwaraa. The winner of this high-stakes encounter will advance to the final to face Yanga SC, who have already booked their spot after a victory in the first semi-final.
Salum Madadi, Director of Competitions at the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF), confirmed that the preparations are progressing well, thanks to close collaboration between the Federation and the Babati community.
“We are working hand in hand with local stakeholders to ensure that everything is perfectly in place by match day,” said Madadi.
“This includes ensuring that the venue presents a strong and professional image on the day of the match.”he added
He also took a moment to express his gratitude to the people of Babati for their dedication and support in organizing the event, noting that TFF has a representative on the ground working closely with the local team to oversee every detail.
“I sincerely thank the people of Babati for their commitment and continued efforts in preparing for this important match. Their cooperation is crucial to the success of this event,” he added.
Madadi also acknowledged those who contributed to the successful organization of the first semi-final between JKT Tanzania and Yanga SC, held at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga, where Yanga emerged victorious.
