The Round of 16 of the Samia Ilala Super Cup is set to kick off on April 16 this year in Ilala District, Dar es Salaam.
In an interview with The Respondent Online, Kondo Mussa Dacko, Chairman of the Ilala District Football Association (IDFA), shared that preparations are in full swing to ensure the competition is held professionally and smoothly.
"The planning process is progressing, and we are finalizing various arrangements, including the schedule for this round, which will be released shortly once everything is confirmed," Dacko explained.
The Chairman further noted that 16 teams will compete for a place in the quarterfinals after a successful Round of 16.
The teams that will battle it out include New Eleven, CCT, Segerea, Ajax Vingunguti, Manyigu, Vijana, Double Road, Vingunguti, Sinai Combine, Kongoro, Bonyokwa Rangers, Mzimuni, Zingiziwa, Bonyokwa, Ball Talent, and Ajax Kiwalani.
