Yanga's Assistant Coach, Abdhamid Mollin, has emphasized the team's determination to secure a win against Al Hilal in the CAF Champions League group stage match scheduled for January 12, 2025, in Mauritania.
The team departed early this morning, heading to Mauritania for the upcoming match.
Speaking at Dar es Salaam International Airport, Mollin called for the support of Tanzanians, hoping it would inspire the team to secure three points against their opponents.
He acknowledged the challenge the match poses but expressed confidence that, with God's will, they will give their all to achieve a positive result.
“All the players are highly motivated and focused on ensuring a strong performance in this match.
We believe that with God’s guidance, we will perform well and return home with positive results from the remaining games,” Mollin said.
After this match, Yanga will face MC Alger on January 19, 2025, at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
