Tanzania has been placed in Group B for the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) tournament for local players, which is set to take place in August this year across Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
The draw took place today, January 15, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre in Kenya, with 19 countries set to participate in the tournament.
Tanzania will compete alongside Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic in Group B.
Group A includes Kenya, Morocco, Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia, while Group C features Uganda, Niger, and Guinea.
Group D consists of Senegal, Congo, Sudan, and Nigeria.
