Tanzania's JKT Queens have been placed in Group A, while the U17 girls' Talent Development Squad (TDS) will compete in Group B of the Girls' Integrated Football Tournament (GIFT).
The tournament, scheduled to take place from January 7 to 18 at the Azam Complex Stadium in Chamazi, Dar es Salaam, will bring together top teams from the CECAFA region.
The draw, conducted earlier today, divided the eight participating teams into two groups.
In Group A, JKT Queens will face City Light from South Sudan, B.D. Kenema from Ethiopia, and K.A.S. from Kenya.
Meanwhile, Group B features TDS alongside Consilli Girls from Uganda, Aigle Noir from Burundi, and Hilaad FC from Somalia.
The competition aims to showcase and promote young female talent in football, with thrilling matches anticipated from all teams.
