The Tanzania Investment and Special Economic Zones Authority (TISEZA) has highlighted Tanzania’s investment potential and commitment to strengthening a predictable and investor-friendly business environment at a forum bringing together business leaders and key stakeholders.
TISEZA participated in the Tanzania Business Leaders Forum and Networking Dinner held on August 6, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Dar es Salaam, The Kilimanjaro.
The authority was represented by its Foreign Investment Promotion Manager, Daudi Riganda, who delivered opening remarks under the theme, “Tanzania’s Vision for Investment, Industrialisation and Regional Competitiveness.”
Mr Riganda said the government remains committed to creating a transparent, predictable and investor-friendly business environment, under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
He outlined Tanzania’s competitive investment advantages and identified priority sectors with potential to attract both domestic and foreign capital.
He also explained TISEZA’s role in promoting and facilitating investment as part of the government’s broader industrialisation agenda.
Beyond attracting capital, Mr Riganda stressed the importance of regional integration, public-private partnerships and stronger regional competitiveness in positioning Tanzania as an attractive destination for quality and sustainable investment.
The forum provided an opportunity for business leaders, investors and other stakeholders to exchange views on Tanzania’s investment landscape and discuss ways of strengthening private-sector-led economic growth.
The discussions come as Tanzania continues efforts to position investment and industrialisation as key drivers of economic transformation, job creation and increased participation in regional markets.
