The Mining Commission publishes indicative mineral prices to provide market guidance and promote transparency in the buying and selling of minerals.
The prices are particularly important to artisanal and small-scale miners, mineral dealers and buying centres, as they provide a reference point for transactions and help improve transparency across the mineral value chain.
The latest figures also come as Tanzania continues to position the mining sector as a key contributor to economic growth, investment, employment and government revenues.
