Residents from different parts of Kibaha District have turned up to witness the handover of a new ambulance, a move expected to improve access to timely emergency medical services.
The ambulance is being handed over today, August 24, 2026, during a ceremony attended by Health Minister and Rufiji MP Mohamed Mchengerwa as the guest of honour.
The new vehicle is expected to strengthen the capacity of health facilities in Kibaha to respond to medical emergencies and facilitate the timely transfer of patients requiring specialised treatment.
