Coca-Cola Kwanza has expanded the FANTA® portfolio in Tanzania with the launch of FANTA® Berry, a new fruit-flavoured beverage targeting consumers looking for a bold and refreshing taste.

The new product is now available at selected retail outlets, supermarkets, universities, kiosks and trade outlets across the country.

Inspired by Tanzania’s vibrant youth culture and the growing popularity of Singeli music, FANTA® Berry is being introduced through the brand’s “Kipapli” campaign, which will combine music, dance, fashion, digital content and consumer activations.

Coca-Cola Tanzania Senior Marketing Manager Kabula Nshimo said the new flavour was introduced to provide Tanzanian consumers with greater variety while responding to changing tastes.

“We’re thrilled to bring even more variety to Tanzanians with this vibrant addition to the FANTA® family,” Ms Nshimo said.

The launch campaign will include university engagements, influencer collaborations, commuter activations, taste-testing exercises and the 'KipapliChallenge' on social media.

Coca-Cola Kwanza on Monday also launched a promotional convoy from its Mikocheni plant, making stops in Ubungo, Mabibo, Buguruni and Temeke before ending in Mbagala. Consumers at the various stops will have an opportunity to sample FANTA® Berry and participate in entertainment and interactive activities.

The company said the campaign will also create opportunities for young content creators to showcase their creativity and participate in the growing digital creator economy.

Coca-Cola Kwanza General Manager David Chait said the expansion of the company’s beverage portfolio was aimed at responding to consumer preferences while creating products that fit into everyday social experiences.

“Our diverse beverage portfolio reflects our dedication to meeting the preferences of Tanzanians,” Mr Chait said.

FANTA® Berry joins FANTA® Orange as part of the brand’s growing range in Tanzania, giving consumers another option for social occasions, entertainment and everyday refreshment.
