Sotta Mining Corporation Limited has invited qualified suppliers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the supply of National Weighing Instruments and related spare parts for the Nyanzaga Gold Project, a major mining development in Sengerema District, Mwanza Region.
The EOI, referenced as EOI/NGP/OPS/074, targets support services for preventive maintenance of the project’s mill plant.
Sotta Mining is a Tanzanian-registered joint venture company owned 80 per cent by Perseus Mining Limited and 20 per cent by the Government of Tanzania, implementing the flagship Nyanzaga Gold Project.
According to the notice, the company is seeking suppliers with strong technical capacity, proven mining sector experience, and the ability to maintain ready stock of spare parts and consumables within Tanzania to ensure timely delivery and minimal operational delays. Preference will be given to companies with demonstrated compliance with local content requirements, including those that are 100 per cent Tanzanian-owned, in line with national industrial participation policies.
Interested firms are required to submit a concise prequalification response of not more than two pages, supported by company profiles, organisational structure, and relevant compliance documents, including registration with the Mining Commission.
Applicants must also provide evidence of technical capability, including qualified personnel, active contracts, and project experience covering the past 10 years.
In addition, bidders are expected to demonstrate financial capacity through audited financial statements and provide health, safety and environmental (HSE) performance records for the past three years, including LTIFR and MTIFR indicators. Commitment to community engagement and local workforce participation will also form part of the assessment.
The evaluation process will be based on three key pillars: qualification, experience, and commercial competitiveness. The deadline for submission is Monday, 13 July 2026, and applications must be sent via email to EOI.TenderSubmissionsTZ@perseusmining.com.
