Perseus Mining Limited is inviting experienced contractors and suppliers to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) for multiple upcoming works at the Nyanzaga Gold Project, a major mining development located in north-western Tanzania.
The project is being implemented through Sotta Mining Corporation Limited, a Tanzanian incorporated joint venture company that is 80% owned by Perseus Mining Limited and 20% owned by the Government of Tanzania.
The initiative reflects ongoing collaboration between the private sector and the state in developing large-scale mining investments within the country.
The Nyanzaga Gold Project is situated in the southern part of the Lake Victoria Gold Fields in Sengerema District, Mwanza Region, approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Mwanza City.
The project is expected to include the construction of a gold processing plant, development of an open-pit mine, and supporting infrastructure such as utilities and operational facilities.
According to the Expression of Interest notice issued by Sotta Mining Corporation Limited, the company is seeking suppliers for several categories of goods and equipment required for the development phase of the project.
The listed procurement packages include the supply of ABB brand equipment, Donaldson brand equipment, Elsewedy brand equipment, National Weighing Instruments, and Rumelca Melco products.
Each package has been assigned a specific EOI reference number to guide applicants through the submission process, ensuring structured procurement and transparent engagement with qualified suppliers and contractors.
Sotta Mining Corporation Limited noted that the Expression of Interest process is aimed at identifying experienced and capable partners who can meet the technical and operational requirements of the Nyanzaga Gold Project.
