Stakeholders in Tanzania's mining industry are using the exhibition running alongside the Fifth Local Content Compliance Forum (LCCF 2026) to raise public awareness of business opportunities, services and investment prospects within the country's mining sector.
The exhibition has attracted a broad range of participants, including mining companies, mine service providers, mineral traders, investors, public and private institutions, and associations representing miners from across the country.
Exhibitors are showcasing products, technologies and services while engaging visitors on opportunities available in mineral exploration, mining operations, equipment supply, value addition, skills development and local content participation.
They are also providing guidance on regulatory requirements, financing options and business partnerships aimed at expanding Tanzanians' involvement in the industry.
The exhibition complements discussions taking place at LCCF 2026, which has brought together policymakers, regulators, mining companies and private sector players to assess progress in implementing local content policies and identify practical measures to increase domestic participation in the mining value chain.
This year's forum is being held under the theme, "From Dialogue to Action: Building a Strong Mining Sector through Tanzanian Participation and Industrial Development," underscoring the country's drive to translate policy commitments into concrete actions that promote local ownership, industrialisation and sustainable growth in the mining sector.
