Choplife Gaming Tanzania has described its recognition with the President's Top Taxpayer Award as a reflection of its commitment to tax compliance and its contribution to Tanzania's economic development.

The company's Managing Director, Loyce Oluoch, said the award demonstrates the importance of responsible taxpaying in supporting national development and reinforces the company's resolve to maintain high standards of compliance.

"This recognition is a great honour for us. It motivates us to continue meeting our tax obligations faithfully, investing in Tanzania, creating employment opportunities and working with the government to support the country's economic growth," Oluoch said.

Operating in Tanzania's gaming sector, Choplife Gaming provides sports betting services through digital platforms and an extensive network of agents.

The company says it has continued to expand its operations by investing in technology while creating jobs for Tanzanians and contributing to government revenue through tax payments.

Oluoch said the recognition serves as an encouragement for the company to strengthen its partnership with the government and continue supporting initiatives that promote sustainable economic development.

"We appreciate the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and the government for recognising our efforts. We remain committed to being a responsible corporate taxpayer and a reliable partner in Tanzania's development," she said.

The President's Top Taxpayer Award is presented to businesses that consistently comply with tax laws, recognising their contribution to domestic revenue mobilisation and the financing of public services and national development priorities.
