The Ministry of Finance has called on citizens to take advantage of ongoing public education opportunities at national exhibitions as part of efforts to strengthen transparency, accountability, and public understanding of government financial management and economic development priorities.

The Ministry of Finance, together with other government ministries, public institutions, and private sector stakeholders, is participating in the Public Service Week Exhibition aimed at educating citizens on how public finances are managed, how the national economy grows, and how development plans are implemented to improve service delivery across the country.

The exhibition is taking place at Chinangali Grounds in Dodoma from June 16 to June 23, 2026, under the theme “Strengthening Inclusive Accountability for Sustainable Development.”

Through its pavilion, the Ministry of Finance Tanzania is providing an opportunity for citizens to learn more about its core functions, including revenue management, budget implementation, and oversight of public expenditure.

The Ministry is also showcasing ongoing reforms aimed at improving efficiency in public financial management and strengthening economic growth.

Officials from the Ministry have encouraged members of the public to visit the exhibition to access educational materials, receive guidance on financial services, and interact directly with experts from the Ministry and its affiliated institutions.

The engagement is intended to help citizens better understand how government resources are mobilized, allocated, and utilized for national development.

The Ministry has further highlighted that the exhibition also provides a platform for citizens to learn about improvements being made in the financial and economic sectors, including digital systems that enhance transparency, reduce bureaucracy, and improve service delivery.

The Public Service Week Exhibition continues to serve as an important national platform where government institutions and stakeholders interact with citizens, share achievements, and promote awareness of ongoing reforms aimed at building a more accountable and efficient public service system.
