Azam FC have declared their intention to win all six of their remaining matches as they push for a strong finish to the 2025/26 season.
The Ice Cream Makers still have five Mainland Premier League fixtures and one CRDB Federation Cup match to play, with all six encounters scheduled for June.
Head coach Florent Ibenge said the team is fully focused on maintaining a winning run, beginning with their upcoming league clash against Fountain Gate FC.
“Our preparations are progressing well and our objective is clear to win every match that lies ahead of us, starting with the game against Fountain Gate,” said Ibenge.
The experienced tactician noted that his players remain motivated despite the demanding schedule, adding that the club is determined to end the season on a positive note in both competitions.
“We know every match is important at this stage of the season. The players understand the responsibility and are working hard to achieve the results we want,” he added.
Midfielder Lusajo Mwaikenda echoed his coach’s sentiments, saying the squad is targeting maximum points from the remaining league fixtures to boost its final standing.
“As players, we have challenged ourselves to collect all 15 points available from our remaining league matches. Once the season ends, we will assess where those results have placed us on the table,” said Mwaikenda.
Azam FC have remained among the league’s strongest performers this season and will be looking to carry their momentum into the final weeks of the campaign.
With both league positioning and silverware still at stake, the club believes a flawless finish could significantly strengthen its chances of ending the season on a high and rewarding note.
