Tanzania’s Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of Korea, Noel Emmanuel Kaganda, has officially arrived in Seoul, marking the beginning of his diplomatic assignment aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation between Tanzania and South Korea.

Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, Ambassador Kaganda was received by the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Kang Jin Hyun, together with members of the African diplomatic community based in Seoul.

The welcoming team included representatives of the African Group of Ambassadors (AGA), among them Deputy Head of Mission of Zambia Wray M. Hamweene and Claude K. Ganza, as well as officials from the Tanzanian Embassy in Korea.

Members of the African Group of Ambassadors extended warm congratulations to Ambassador Kaganda, wishing him success as he assumes his new responsibilities.

They also emphasized the importance of continued cooperation among African missions in Korea, calling for stronger unity, coordination, and shared diplomatic engagement to advance Africa’s collective interests.

Speaking after his arrival, Ambassador Kaganda expressed gratitude for the warm reception accorded to him. He pledged to work closely with fellow African diplomats, the Government of Korea, and other partners to strengthen friendship and expand cooperation in key areas of mutual benefit.

His deployment comes at a time when Tanzania is seeking to expand its international partnerships, particularly in trade, investment, technology transfer, and development cooperation.
