KMC FC will take on Tanzania Prisons in a crucial NBC Premier League encounter tomorrow at the KMC Complex, with both sides battling to escape relegation.

The two teams go into the match under pressure, sitting at the bottom of the standings. Tanzania Prisons are currently placed 15th, just above KMC who lie 16th, making the fixture a defining moment in their fight for survival.

Speaking ahead of the game on April 12, 2026, Tanzania Prisons head coach Shadrack Nsajigwa admitted the stakes are high but insisted his team is ready.

He said both sides are desperate for points, which will make the contest highly competitive.

“We have prepared well in training. The players understand what is at stake, and we are ready to fight for the three points,” said Nsajigwa.

Tanzania Prisons midfielder Masoud Abdallah said the squad is fully focused and determined to execute the coach’s instructions despite the pressure surrounding the game.

“We know it will not be easy, but our target is to get a positive result,” he said.

For KMC, head coach Imani Mwalupetelo expressed confidence playing at home, saying his players are mentally and physically ready for the challenge.

“We welcome Tanzania Prisons. We have prepared well and the players are ready for this important match,” he said.

KMC forward Daruwesh Saliboko described the encounter as a “final,” stressing that anything less than victory would be unacceptable for his side.

“This is like a final for us. We are not thinking about a draw or loss—we need all three points,” he said.

With only a few matches left in the season, the outcome of this clash could significantly shape the relegation battle, as both teams look to revive their campaigns and secure their place in the top flight.
