Government opens window for students to revise subject combinations and courses

The Prime Minister’s Office–Regional Administration and Local Government (PMO-RALG) has officially opened the system for Form Four graduates to revise their subject combinations and college course choices ahead of the 2026 placement.

Minister of State in PMO-RALG, Riziki Shemdoe, said the exercise began on April 11, 2026 and will run until May 10, 2026.

The process targets students who completed Form Four in 2025 and wish to adjust their Advanced Level subject combinations or middle-level college courses through the government’s online selection platform.

Prof. Shemdoe urged students, parents and guardians to consult thoroughly before making any changes, including seeking academic and professional guidance to ensure informed decisions.

“Students should carefully review their choices based on their performance and future career aspirations,” he said.

He emphasised that all revisions must align with students’ examination results to avoid complications during placement.

The changes are being made through the Student Selection Management Information System (MIS), which can be accessed online via:[https://selform.tamisemi.go.tz] and (https://selform.tamisemi.go.tz)

Prof. Shemdoe stressed the importance of observing the deadline, noting that no further changes will be allowed after the final selection results for Form Five and colleges are released.

“This is the only window available for making adjustments before placements are finalised,” he said.

He added that the service is free of charge and warned students against paying anyone for assistance.

Students facing challenges during the process have been advised to seek help through official channels, including the PMO-RALG customer support desk via email at [huduma@tamisemi.go.tz](mailto:huduma@tamisemi.go.tz).

They can also contact the customer care centre through the following phone numbers: +255 262 160 210 and +255 735 160 210

In addition, students, parents or guardians who need further clarification have been encouraged to visit regional or council education offices for direct support.

The initiative reflects PMO-RALG’s continued efforts to digitise education services, improve transparency and ensure students are placed in programmes that match their qualifications and career paths.
