The Attorney General, Hamza S. Johari, has presented key explanations on the Written Laws Miscellaneous Amendment Bill, 2026, to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Administration, Constitution, and Legal Affairs.
Johari delivered the presentation on March 3, 2026, during a session held at the Parliament in Dodoma.
The bill seeks to amend and update various existing laws, ensuring they remain relevant and effective in addressing the country’s evolving legal and administrative needs.
The committee is now reviewing the bill, examining its provisions in detail, before making recommendations to Parliament for further consideration.
The move is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the legal framework and improve governance in Tanzania.
