The Mining Commission of Tanzania is showcasing a wide range of investment opportunities at the 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair, currently underway in Fumba, Zanzibar.
The Commission is inviting investors, entrepreneurs, youth, women, and the general public to visit its pavilion and explore prospects in mineral exploration, mining, mineral processing, trading, and the supply of goods and services to mining operations.
The exhibition also highlights the sector’s role in driving economic growth, creating jobs, and generating income for Tanzanians.
Speaking at the fair, Greyson Mwase, Public Relations and Communications Manager of the Mining Commission, emphasised that the sector offers inclusive opportunities for all.
He encouraged small-scale miners and entrepreneurs to apply for Primary Mining Licences (PMLs), engage in value addition activities, and make use of official mineral markets and buying centres.
The 12th Zanzibar International Trade Fair continues until January 16, 2026. Visitors are encouraged to visit the Mining Commission Pavilion to receive guidance and explore transformative investment opportunities in Tanzania’s rapidly growing mining sector.
