The Tanzania men’s national pool team is preparing to face South Africa tomorrow in the ongoing African Pool Championships, currently being held in South Africa.
Speaking to The Respondent Online from the tournament venue, Wilfred Makamba, Chairman of the Tanzania Pool Association (TAPA), said the team’s morale is high and preparations are on track.
Makamba emphasized that the team is determined to compete for the championship this year, despite facing strong opponents from other participating nations.
“The competition is fierce, but our team is well-prepared to demonstrate our skills against every opponent. Our goal is to perform at our best and achieve the objectives we have set,” Makamba said.
He added that the squad is currently undergoing final preparations ahead of tomorrow’s match, with players in excellent physical and mental condition.
Makamba urged Tanzanians to continue supporting and praying for the team, hoping they will deliver strong performances in the remaining matches and gradually secure positive results in the championships.
