Singida Black Stars return safely, head to Zanzibar ahead of CR Belouizdad clash

Singida Black Stars have returned safely to Dar es Salaam early today after completing their international assignment in Congo Brazzaville, the team’s spokesperson Hussein Massanza confirmed.

The Tanzanian side claimed a 2-1 victory over Otoho in the return leg played in Congo, advancing their preparations for the next important fixture.

Following a short break, the team is set to travel to Zanzibar tonight at 10:00 PM by ferry to continue training and tactical preparations for their upcoming match against CR Belouizdad, scheduled for February 8, 2026.

Massanza said the journey will include all players, the technical bench, and selected team officials, emphasizing that the objective is to ensure the squad is fully prepared and in peak condition for the crucial encounter.

He added that the coaching staff will make final technical and tactical adjustments in Zanzibar to maximize the team’s chances of securing a positive result in the match.
