Residents of Dar es Salaam have praised the government for maintaining peace and stability across the country, a factor they say has allowed social and economic activities to continue without disruption.
They also called on God to grant the nation’s leaders, including President Samia Suluhu Hassan, wisdom and strength to keep Tanzania safe and secure.
Speaking to journalists, Ms. Ashura Hamis Mpoda, a resident of Temeke, said the prevailing peace has enabled the government to implement various development projects, including improvements in road infrastructure.
“We are grateful to Almighty God that Tanzania is at peace and we are safe. Our businesses faced challenges recently, but now life is returning to normal. People are going about their daily work, children are attending school, and even sporting activities are happening smoothly. May God protect our President Samia so that she can continue to do good for us,” Ms. Mpoda said.
She emphasized that the calm environment has strengthened community confidence and allowed citizens to focus on development and personal growth.
