For gold, the world market price is USD 4,935.90 per troy ounce, equivalent to TZS 410,787.30 per gram.
Within Tanzania, the mineral market price is TZS 369,708.57 per gram, and licensed buying centres are purchasing gold at TZS 361,492.82 per gram.
Silver prices show a world market value of USD 74.80 per troy ounce, or TZS 6,225.18 per gram. Locally, the mineral market price is TZS 5,602.67 per gram, and buying centres are paying TZS 5,478.16 per gram.
These updates provide guidance for miners, traders, and buyers, helping ensure transparency and fair trade in Tanzania’s mining sector.
