Mineral indicative prices February 10,2026


The Mining Commission of Tanzania has released its latest mineral indicative prices for gold and silver, providing key insights for traders, investors, and miners across the country.

According to the commission, the world market price of gold currently stands at USD 5,054.55 per troy ounce, equivalent to Tanzania Shillings (TZS) 417,332.09 per gram

The mineral market price for gold in Tanzania is set at TZS 375,598.88 per gram, while buying centres across the country are offering approximately TZS 367,252.24 per gram.

Silver prices have also been updated. The global market price for silver is USD 81.60 per troy ounce, which translates to TZS 6,737.36 per gram

Domestically, the mineral market price is TZS 6,063.62 per gram, while the buying centre price is TZS 5,928.87 per gram.

These indicative prices are designed to guide miners and traders in pricing their products fairly while ensuring transparency in the market. 

The commission continues to play a crucial role in stabilizing mineral trade and supporting Tanzania’s growing mining sector.
