The Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball League is set to officially kick off tomorrow with three thrilling matches at the KIUT grounds, promising an action-packed start to the season.
The opening men’s match will feature KIUT taking on High Voltage in a showdown expected to deliver fierce competition, as both teams have prepared intensively for the season.
Before the main event, two preliminary matches will take place: the KIUT women’s team will face Jeshi Stars, followed by a clash between Best Six and TPDC.
Clement Athanas, Secretary of the Dar es Salaam Regional Volleyball Association, said preparations for the league have been completed and all facilities are ready for the games.
“We have completed all preparations, particularly upgrading the playing facilities to meet competition standards and provide an ideal environment for players to showcase their talents. We invite fans to come in large numbers and enjoy the excitement,” Athanas said.
Robin Msigwa, Technical Secretary of the DAREVA Board, added that all technical arrangements are finalized, with referees and the technical table fully ready.
Volleyball enthusiasts across Dar es Salaam are encouraged to attend and witness the skill, energy, and competition that will define this season’s league.
