Dr. Maulid J. Maulid, Chief Executive of the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEM), is attending a validation workshop organized by the African Centre for School Leadership (ACSL) in Nairobi, Kenya, from 10–13 February 2026.
The workshop brings together school leadership stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, professional development providers, school leaders, and education officials from across Africa.
The workshop aims to review, refine, and validate the findings of a continental school leadership mapping exercise. Through collaborative consultations, participants will co-create a roadmap to strengthen school leadership across African countries.
The validated findings are expected to inform national education policies and guide regional and continental frameworks.
They will also enhance leadership practices, support professional development, inform research, and foster coordinated collaboration across the continent.
ACSL is coordinated by four Pan-African organizations the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA), Education Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA), the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), and VVOB – Education for Development in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. ADEM is a key stakeholder partner alongside VVOB in this initiative.
