Prime Minister Dr. Mwigulu Nchemba today, January 2, 2026, traveled to Morogoro Region for an official working visit.
He is set to review the progress of the Kidunda Water Dam, a flagship project expected to produce up to 20 billion litres of water daily, supporting domestic use, agriculture, and local industries.
During his visit, Dr. Mwigulu will also assess the effects of recent heavy rains in the region, focusing on areas including Kidete, Godegode, and Gulwe, where communities have faced flooding and related challenges.
The Prime Minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to accelerating infrastructure development while ensuring timely response to climate-related impacts affecting citizens.
