Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Paul Makonda, on December 29, 2025, paid a morale-boosting visit to the Taifa Stars camp in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of the team’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match against Tunisia scheduled for tomorrow, December 30, 2025.
During the visit, Makonda held discussions with players, the technical bench and team leaders, urging them to uphold discipline, unity and fighting spirit as they prepare for one of their most important matches in the tournament.
He emphasized the responsibility the team carries in representing Tanzania on the continental stage and the importance of giving their best performance.
