The women’s netball and volleyball teams from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority (NCAA) have arrived in Morogoro ahead of the SHIMMUTA sports competitions, which kicked off today.
The teams have started intensive training at the JKT grounds as part of their preparation for the tournament, running from November 25 to December 6, 2025.
Speaking during a practice session, Ngorongoro coach Mathias Evarist said the players are fully prepared to showcase their skills and compete with determination.
Senior NCAA Sports Officer Yotham Gitige confirmed that Ngorongoro will participate in netball, volleyball, and athletics, joining other institutions in the multi-sport event.
The SHIMMUTA tournament provides a platform for athletes to demonstrate their talent, foster teamwork, and strengthen sporting ties among organizations across the country.
