Mloganzila Hospital in Ubungo District has launched its new “Premier Clinic,” a move set to transform specialized medical services in Dar es Salaam.
The clinic was officially opened on September 18, 2025, by Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Albert Chalamila.
Speaking at the launch, RC Chalamila commended the hospital for its innovative approach in expanding access to advanced medical care.
The Premier Clinic will provide treatment in areas including kidney, liver, and hip transplants, as well as diagnosis and care for brain, spinal, and neurological conditions.
Additional services at the clinic will cover pediatric spinal surgery, cancer management, reconstructive surgery, emergency and trauma care, vascular interventions, and treatment of diabetes and hormonal disorders.
The new facility is expected to reduce the need for patients to seek specialized treatment abroad, making high-level healthcare more accessible locally.
RC Chalamila also expressed gratitude to President Samia Suluhu Hassan for her ongoing investment in the health sector, noting that her leadership has led to improved hospital infrastructure, advanced medical equipment, and a growing pool of skilled specialists across Tanzania.
He urged hospital staff and leaders to work diligently and collaboratively, emphasizing that their commitment will leave a lasting legacy for future generations while improving health outcomes for Tanzanians.
