The ruling party Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) is fielding strong and capable candidates committed to continuing Tanzania’s development, Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has said.
Speaking on Sunday, September 14, during the launch of parliamentary campaign activities for Lindi Urban Constituency at Mnazi Mmoja Primary School, Majaliwa said CCM’s leadership is anchored by President and party presidential candidate Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan.
“President Dr. Samia has achieved significant milestones that have improved the daily lives of Tanzanians. Continuity in leadership is crucial to sustain these gains. She has brought funding and development projects to Lindi. Why should we stop her now?” Majaliwa asked.
He urged voters to back CCM in the October 29 polls, noting that President Samia’s record in education, health, agriculture, and infrastructure demonstrates her effectiveness.
“This manifesto brings further benefits to the people of Lindi. Let’s not make mistakes,” he said.
Majaliwa also endorsed CCM parliamentary candidate Mohamed Utaly, describing him as a proven leader capable of driving progress in the constituency.
Utaly pledged to serve Lindi Urban with dedication. “I am ready to serve and ignite the torch of development in our constituency. Elect President Dr. Samia, MPs, and councillors, and vote wisely,” he said.
He added that he will provide strong representation in Parliament and work tirelessly to ensure the constituency moves forward. “I will use my skills and experience to advance Lindi Urban,” Utaly affirmed.
