Africa Think Tank (ATTF) has partnered with Arthshakti Institute in a move set to advance social and economic development in Tanzania, with a focus on agriculture, health, financial literacy, and digital innovation.
Speaking at the signing ceremony in Dar es Salaam, ATTF Founder and Executive Chairperson, Ms. Ekizabeth Riziki, said the partnership will support government efforts to promote inclusive growth and improve livelihoods across the country.
“We will focus on empowering farmers with business and market knowledge, while promoting environmental protection, health awareness, and responsible use of digital technology. Our aim is to ensure communities leverage technology to improve their daily lives,” Ms. Riziki said.
Arthshakti Director, Mr. Somesh Kulshrestha, noted the institute will back ATTF’s initiatives through projects that lower healthcare costs, provide computer training to students, and deliver practical agricultural education.
“Our collaboration will reduce treatment expenses for patients, equip students with digital skills, and strengthen agricultural practices nationwide,” Mr. Kulshrestha said.
Arthshakti Executive Secretary, Ms. Mira Solanki, added that the institute will organize specialized agricultural camps to train farmers on the use of inputs, pesticides, health management, and productivity-enhancing techniques.
“Farmers deserve the same opportunities for better livelihoods as others. This partnership will help them access loans, healthcare services, and simple farming solutions that boost efficiency and output,” Ms. Solanki said.
The alliance is expected to drive transformation in agriculture, education, and health, while promoting the responsible adoption of digital technologies to support national development.
