CCM parliamentary candidate for Bukombe Constituency, Dr. Doto Biteko, has urged residents of Ilyamchele in Namonge Ward to place their trust in the ruling party as campaigns for the 2025 General Election gather momentum.

Addressing a rally on September 18, Dr. Biteko, who also serves as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, said the CCM manifesto offers practical solutions to accelerate development in Bukombe and beyond.

He assured voters that priority areas would include modernising infrastructure, expanding access to reliable electricity, improving schools and health centres, and creating opportunities for youth and small businesses.

“Our mission is to sustain the progress that has already been achieved and ensure that no one is left behind. CCM has a track record of fulfilling its promises, and together we can move Bukombe forward,” Dr. Biteko said.

The rally in Namonge forms part of a series of campaign meetings across Bukombe District aimed at consolidating grassroots support.

Residents who turned out voiced confidence that continued investment in local projects would transform the area and improve living standards.
